On buidling a new social platform for AI content

1. Content Creation is too easy

With the rise of Genative AI, creating content is easier than ever. People no longer need expensive cameras, costly subscription software, or hours of editing. All they need is an idea and a GenAI tool to turn their prompts into text, images, or video.

2. Flood of AI content on mainstream social platforms

Mainstream platforms are now filled with AI-generated content, much of it low-effort or low-quality. Mixed in with regular posts are scams, fake celebrity clips, political manipulation, and outright spam. This hurts the overall user experience. Major platforms will likely become stricter about moderating it. Still, people do want to see genuinely creative and high-quality AI content.

3. On building a new social platform

I’m planning to build illusia.ai — a platform designed to collect and showcase only high-quality AI content. Instead of letting AI-generated posts flood mainstream platforms, the idea is to have them flow into illusia.ai instead.

What will be the different between new Illusia, with other platform? Maybe when it is displaying AI content, it will show a label unreal, so that people will are of it.

This would be a very small improvement.

I’m not sure if it will work, but I think it’s worth putting some effort into exploring.
